A North Carolina native, Jeanie Levinge graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, with a BA in English and Georgia State with Masters in Education. An English teacher and school counselor, Jeanie lived in the Atlanta area for many years, then Birmingham, AL, and moved to coastal Georgia when her husband retired. Over a period of 30 years, she has bought and sold nine homes. Two were renovations of historical properties. While living in Darien, GA, she was secretary of the Darien Historical Commission and worked to preserve several tabby structures on the riverfront of Darien. Upon moving to the Beaches are in 2009, she was in search of a "cottage" that had the aesthetics of a vintage home with the amenities of new construction. That, of course, meant building a house. She feels very lucky to have connected with a talented architect, builder, and construction team in Jax Beach that knew how to make that happen! For fun, Jeanie takes Art History classes. She loves to travel, and immediately heads for the museums and antique shops. She hopes to find the property that truly "speaks" to you and will be honest, conscientious, and doggedly determined in that search!
